Piece 01

Pencil case, bobble stitch, cotton. About 20 cm. Zip lining crocheted, not sewn in. One of one – the yarn was a single skein and she doesn’t keep patterns.

Process

Leo learned from her grandmother at nine. She works without patterns, starting from the centre and counting as she goes. If a shape goes wrong she pulls it back and starts again. Finished pieces are washed, blocked, and dried on the balcony.
